CPR Coach

Privacy Policy

xonnet studio values the privacy of CPR Coach users. This policy explains what information is processed through the app and how it is protected.

Effective date:

Key information: CPR Coach does not provide user accounts or operate its own analytics server. App settings and active CPR session recovery data are stored only on the user's device. However, Google advertising SDKs may process certain information to provide ads.

1. Operator and App Purpose

CPR Coach is operated by xonnet studio.

CPR Coach is a CPR support and educational tool that provides compression rhythm, timing, and step guidance through sound, on-screen cues, and vibration. It is not a medical device or a diagnostic tool, and does not replace professional CPR training, medical advice, or instructions from emergency responders.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number first (119 in South Korea) and follow the dispatcher's and emergency responders' instructions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice; do not delay emergency assistance to use this app.

2. Information We Process

The app does not directly collect account information such as your name, email address, or phone number, and it does not send usage data to an analytics server operated by us.

The app does not access your camera, microphone, GPS location, or Health Connect records. Voice guidance plays audio; it does not record you. Advertising services may still estimate general location from your IP address.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares the following information with Google and advertising partners by default for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. The information transmitted may vary with consent choices, device settings, and the ad serving mode:

The Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK handles advertising privacy consent and stores consent choices on your device. Its role is separate from the advertising SDK's data collection described above.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Data Purpose Storage
Voice, vibration, and countdown settings; disclaimer acknowledgment Remember your app preferences App-private storage
App launch count and the time an ad was last shown Control ad display timing App-private storage
Active CPR session ID, start time, mode, phase, target BPM, elapsed time, guidance counts, tap-based pace measurements, and event history Resolve and clean up an interrupted session after an unexpected shutdown App-private database

These values describe app guidance and your screen taps. They do not measure a patient's heart rate, condition, compression depth, or actual CPR quality. The app does not send this session data to our servers or include it in advertising requests.

The app does not keep a completed-session history. Temporary recovery data may remain until session finalization or recovery cleanup succeeds, as explained below. Recovery does not automatically resume CPR guidance.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide app open ads and the Google UMP SDK to present privacy consent and advertising privacy choices where required. Information processed by these services is retained and handled under the policies of Google and the relevant advertising partners.

Advertising services use device identifiers and local storage to support ads and privacy choices. Where applicable, you can manage consent through the options described in Section 8. Declining personalized ads does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing.

5. Permissions and Network Access

6. Retention and Deletion

Clearing app data or uninstalling the app does not delete information already sent to Google or advertising partners. Use the providers' privacy controls and request channels for information they hold.

7. Data Security

On-device data is stored in Android app-private storage. The app's database and settings are excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Information collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app's features or applicable laws and policies change. Material changes will be announced on this page, and the effective date will be updated.
