Information stored locally
LumaFlash stores app preferences in Android DataStore on your device. This includes brightness, autostart, volume-button and Morse power-save preferences. The app also stores counters and timestamps used to determine when an advertisement may be shown.
These settings remain in the app's private storage. Android backup is disabled for LumaFlash, and Xonnet does not receive or store this information on its own servers.
Information the app does not collect directly
LumaFlash does not require an account and does not directly collect your name, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or camera images. The app controls the device flashlight through Android's torch APIs and does not open the camera to capture images or video.
Advertising and consent
LumaFlash uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to load and display ads. Depending on your location, device settings, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app and advertising interactions, such as launches, taps, and video views;
- diagnostic and performance information; and
- device or account identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID and App Set ID.
This information may be used to provide, personalize where permitted, measure, and protect advertising services, including analytics, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention. For details about Google's handling of information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Where required, the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) displays a consent form before the app requests ads. If privacy options are required in your region, you can review or change your advertising choices in Settings > Privacy & legal > Privacy choices. Ads are not requested when the consent state does not permit them.
You can also manage or reset the Android Advertising ID through your Android device settings. Changing your choices may affect the ads you see.

LumaFlash does not request the CAMERA runtime permission. The flashlight feature uses Android's torch APIs and does not capture or transmit camera content.
Retention and deletion
Local settings, counters, and timestamps are retained until you clear LumaFlash's app storage or uninstall the app. Xonnet does not retain this local information on its servers.
Information handled by Google and its partners is retained and deleted according to their policies and settings. You can manage applicable advertising choices through the in-app privacy choices entry point, Google controls, and Android device settings.
Security
Local settings are protected by Android's application sandbox. Google states that information collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
LumaFlash is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law. The app does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party advertising service, please contact us and review Google's available privacy controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, advertising services, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be published at this URL, and the revision date above will be changed accordingly.
