1. OVERVIEW
Jack Bolt Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Jack Bolt Android application provided by xonnet ("we," "us," or "the Developer").
Jack Bolt is an engineering calculation tool. The Developer does not operate an account system or a server that receives calculation inputs or results. The app does, however, use Google Mobile Ads to display app open advertisements and Google User Messaging Platform to manage advertising choices where required.
2. CALCULATION DATA AND LOCAL STORAGE
- Calculation inputs and results are processed on your device and are not sent to a Developer-operated server.
- The app stores selected settings, such as nut size and display preferences, locally on your device.
- When you use Copy, the selected calculation data is placed on the Android system clipboard. Clipboard handling is controlled by Android and other apps may access it according to Android's behavior.
- When you use Save Image, the app creates a PNG in Pictures/JackboltSuite. It can be visible to gallery or file-management apps and is not removed by clearing the app's private data or uninstalling the app.
3. GOOGLE MOBILE ADS
Jack Bolt uses Google Mobile Ads to request and display app open advertisements. Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
This may include:
- Device IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location
- Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID when available and app set ID
- User product interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, and ad clicks
- Diagnostic information, such as app and SDK performance information
- Device and app information needed to request, deliver, secure, personalize where permitted, and measure ads
The Developer may receive aggregated advertising reports, but does not receive your calculation inputs or results through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners process advertising data under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. ADVERTISING CHOICES AND CONSENT
Where required, Google User Messaging Platform presents a consent or privacy-choice form before the app requests an advertisement. If Google requires a continuing privacy-options entry point for your region, the app's Settings screen shows Privacy Choices so you can review or change those choices.
If advertising consent is unavailable or an optional purpose is declined, the app follows Google's resulting ad-request eligibility. The calculator remains available even when an ad cannot be requested or shown.
You may also reset or delete your Android advertising ID through your device settings. Available controls vary by Android version, device, region, and Google's products.
5. PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK ACCESS
Jack Bolt does not request Android runtime permissions that display a user approval prompt.
- Google Mobile Ads uses network access to request and display ads.
- The Google Mobile Ads SDK may add network-state and advertising-ID permissions to the merged app manifest.
- Depending on the Android version and device support, the SDK may also add Privacy Sandbox advertising-service permissions for advertising ID, attribution, or advertising topics.
These are normal manifest permissions and do not show an Android runtime permission prompt. Jack Bolt does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or broad photo, video, or storage access.
6. DATA SHARING, RETENTION, AND SECURITY
The Developer does not sell or share calculation inputs or results because the app does not receive them on a Developer-operated server. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share the advertising data described above with Google and advertising partners for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention under their own policies.
Local app settings remain until you change them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Saved images and clipboard contents are handled separately as described in Section 2. Google and its partners determine retention of advertising data under their own policies.
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. CHILDREN
Jack Bolt is a general engineering tool and is not directed to children. The Developer does not knowingly collect calculation data or account information from children. Google Mobile Ads may process advertising data as described in this policy; parents or guardians should supervise use by children and use the available device and advertising controls where appropriate.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CONTACT
For local app data, you can change settings, clear app storage, uninstall the app, clear the clipboard, or delete saved images. The Developer cannot remotely access or delete data stored only on your device.
For Google advertising data and related rights, use the consent and Privacy Choices controls in the app when available, your device advertising controls, or Google's privacy resources below. For questions about this policy, contact xonnetstudio@gmail.com.
9. EXTERNAL SERVICES AND POLICY CHANGES
This policy does not replace the privacy policies of Google, Google Mobile Ads, or other external services. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and policies.
- Google Privacy Policy
- Google advertising technologies
- Google Mobile Ads data disclosure
- Google Ad Settings
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
10. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Privacy Policy is effective for use of Jack Bolt from the date below.
